Smart Grid Program
The $100m Smart Grid Program was administered by Natural Resources Canada, as part of the Federal government's larger 'Green Infrastructure Phase II' program. The objective of this initiative was to support utilty-led projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, better utilize electricity assets and foster innovation in the electricity sector.
The program closed to new submissions in March 2018.
